Frequency And Pattern Reconfigurable Slot Antenna
- A pattern reconfigurable U-slot antenna on a microwave substrate is presented. The antenna consists of a U-slot patch and eight shorting posts. Each edge of the square patch is connected to two shorting posts by PIN diodes. By switching between the different states of the PIN diodes, the proposed antenna can radiate boresight or conical patterns; moreover, the position of the main lobes of the.
- A wideband slot antenna with frequency- and pattern-reconfigurable characteristics for TD-LTE (3.4–3.8 GHz) and C-band (3.7–4.2 GHz) applications is proposed. The antenna consists of two symmetric slots that are fed by a fork-shaped microstrip line. Two PIN diodes are loaded in the slots to produce two different frequency bands.
- A slot antenna having the characteristics of frequency and the pattern reconfigurability using PIN diodes is reported in. The antenna uses two switches on the slot to produce multiple resonant bands, while the four slits along with the switches produce pattern.
